Sony Ericsson just released a phone called the Aino is able to wirelessly synchronize with a PS3. I am not sure if this is the first mobile phone to connect to a video game console, but if so, it is long in coming.
After all, who would not want instant access to their digital content on their PS3 from their mobile phone? As long as there Internet Mobile is available on the Aino, the user can sit back to watch whatever content is on this large hard drive PS3.
When I heard Aino talk that could sync with the PS3, I immediately had visions of surf through the main menu of the PS3 on my cell phone and games without joystick. Not in this version of the Aino, but hopefully I'll give Sony Ericsson a few ideas. They do not reflect yet what I think, I'm sure.
