Writing light photography help please?

I want to make a video of the writing light with stop animation i have a normal camera, but I have digital set the ISO to 100 or 50 and I do not know what else to mess with which I know how to make my shutter 30 or even if I can get the fire to make a line that I want but everything is so fuzzy that someone can tell me if Please right things to do

Set your camera on a tripod, set the ISO sensitivity low, making the opening too small as you can, and put the shutter speed to the lowest setting. When you're ready, have someone push the shutter down and start writing. You have to do a couple of times until you are satisfied with the image.
